Description

This should be simple but I couldn't figure it out: If I don't want to see warnings like "Trailing spaces not allowed" in my typescript file, what should I do?

I tried to change .eslintrc.json and modify "rules":{} to

      "rules": {
          "no-trailing-spaces": "off"
      }

But it didn't work.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the repository's .eslintrc.json configuration and the TypeScript linting entry point to determine how the no-trailing-spaces rule is applied. Document the supported configuration for disabling this warning, including why the attempted rules setting does not take effect, and verify the guidance with a TypeScript file.
