How to disable lock folders being generated

Hey there,
I'm not using the lock files and would like to disable them appearing in the first place.
I know what they are for, but I can't find how to disable them.

I found this https://github.com/eclipse/paho.mqtt.rust/issues/35 , but I couldn't find the things they were mentioning.

Could someone tell me how to that?
