Description

record Point(int x, int y) {}

Hovering over x shows the component as a package-private non-final member instead of a private final one. Same in the outline view:

Its accessor method x() also shows as as package-private instead of public.

I think that this is a regression, but didn't check previous versions.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with the Java record snippet and inspect the hover and outline views for the component and its accessor. The fix is complete when the component appears private and final, and its accessor appears public, in both views.
