Description
Eclipse 2025-06
MacOS Sequoia 15.5
When Eclipse is placed on a secondary display ("Extended display" in the OS settings), the vertical ruler decorations (breakpoints, compile error/waring indicators) are not updating correctly. When on the main/primary display, they work correctly. For example, creating a breakpoint in the editor shows no breakpoint indicator/icon in the left vertical ruler, unless/until switching to another perspective - then the ruler decorations all update.
I think a video demonstrates the problem better than words.

I've narrowed this down to only happening when Eclipse is on the secondary display. I don't have a Windows machine to test on so I don't know if this is isolated to Mac or not.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue in Eclipse 2025-06 on macOS Sequoia 15.5 with the editor on a secondary display. Create a breakpoint and trigger a compile error, then compare the vertical ruler decorations with the same actions on the primary display and after switching perspectives. Done means breakpoint and error/warning decorations update immediately on the secondary display.
