Button to start a modeling workbench from a language workbench?

When developing a language, it is necessary to manually create and use an "Eclipse Application" run configuration in order to deploy and test the language in a modeling workbench. This can be confusing for beginners, and it is slightly tedious to create this run configuration each time.

Could we perhaps simplify this task? Maybe a button "Deploy languages and start a modeling workbench"? We would just need to ask for a workspace when this button is pressed. Maybe a drop down could be used to choose between multiple workspaces.

Such feature would, behind the scene, create an "Eclipse Application" run configuration and start it, so we would not lose anything, simply add some graphical sugar.
