**Context**: I want to build a mitre saw station so that I'm not using my Mitre Saw on the _floor_ of the garage.
_Inside_ that mitre saw station, I want to have a shop vac which the saw connects to.
_In-line_ with that vac I want a cyclone that captures 98% of the larger dust particles to minimise the loss of suction and be easier to throw away.

I tested all vacuum cleaners at Leroy last weekend and the the **1800W** / **30L** model had both **_excellent_ suction power** and a socket for power tools (so the vac only switches on when the power tool is in-use):

Note: I already have a cyclone dust collector ("Dust Commander") attached the Bosch shop vac which is _portable_.
But I've found that it does not get as much use because I have to keep plugging it into the different tools I'm using ...

What I want is:
a) A dedicated and _fixed_ vac + cyclone for the mitre saw station
b) Bosch shop vac + cyclone for use with the smaller "hand" power tools like the router, plane, sanders, etc.

I know this sounds "extravagant" to have ***two*** vacs but trust me, the total cost of this system is an order of magnitude cheaper than buying and installing a commercial dust extraction system:
