2 hanging cubbies for the next day's clothes and PJs

Description
I would like to start having the kids pick their clothes the day before as this is a great habit I wish I had been given early in life.
Also, because they both get up at different times and I'm proposing their wardrobe is in their room, this means they could get dressed without bothering the other as I propose these cubbies hang on the wall _outside_ the room.
It will also foster more independence.
I would propose something simple that we can build with the kids and involve them.
I measured folded clothes (winter and summer) to determine the rough sizes we'd need and this seems like it:
