Crayon/pen holder

It would be very useful to have crayon/pen holder as these are continuously rolling off tables when in use.

I know these are done on a CNC machine rather than laser cut so ours won't be 'as pretty' because they'll have burn marks and I'm in no way going to sand down each hole. But they'll be functional and look good, especially if you're not comparing it directly to this one 😅

I was thinking I would:
+ Measure the diameter we need
+ Make a file with a few holes in slightly different sizes to test
+ Cut one or two test pieces to see which size hole works best IRL
+ Cut the holes right through one sheet of 10mm wood (which type is tbd with those who know best like @nelsonic )
+ Stick it to another 10mm rectangle of wood (cut at the same time obviously) to serve as the base
