Description

“_**One person** with **passion** is **better** than **forty people merely interested**._” ~ [E.M. Forster](https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/482803)

Echoed later:

"_**One person** with **passion** is **greater than ninety-nine** who have only an **interest**_." ~ [John C. Maxwell](https://youtu.be/aazd8Yc4HBA?t=162)

We need to find the people who are _passionate_ about solving the Personal Effectiveness problem.

People with a mild _interest_ in the topic are good.
But if those people with an _interest_ prefer to spend their "free" time
on leisure activities that aren't related to their life goals ... e.g. Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
They aren't going to be the people who are _obsessed_ with solving their life problems.

We need to _discover_ the **`1%`** of **`people`** that have a ***pain point*** so severe
that they would be willing to pay $1000/month for a “[concierge](https://github.com/dwyl/product-roadmap/issues/29)” service
to solve their life organisation and "getting stuff done" challenges.

These are the people who hire **personal assistants** (in-person or virtual),
home organising/tidying consultants or housekeepers to help them stay on top of the tasks in their lives.
They are the ["**_early_ adopters**"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_adopter) for whom a new tool/technology is so appealing,
because it will solve their specific problem/need, that they are willing to put up with a few rough edges ...

![early-adopter](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/194400/214372172-22917c61-5ab5-4c87-a318-080d2457f769.png)

The people who are willing to use the **_first_ version** of a product and pay a _premium_ for it
even though it lacks _obvious_ features that _other_ products may already have.

> In Rogers' "Technology Adoption Lifecycle" model: [wikipedia.org/wiki/Technology_adoption_life_cycle](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technology_adoption_life_cycle)
_we_ (@dwyl) are the "[***innovators***](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innovation)".
For us the **pain** of **_not_ having** the [**system**](https://github.com/dwyl/product-roadmap#system) is so great that we are willing to spend **`1000x`** more cash & time
to actually ***`build`*** the tech/tool - in our case `App` and `API` - to solve our specific needs.
We are obviously always looking for fellow "innovators" to join us.
But the focus of `this` issue is to find people who want/need to ***`use`*** the `App` (and give us feedback!

Having an curious interest is fine, those people will use something that _already_ exists.
We want to find `people` for whom finding the solution to their "personal organisation challenge" is an _obsession_.
