Description
While reading an article on Bloomberg ...
specifically the one on how the **GitHub Co-Founders _sold-out_** the community to ***Microsoft***: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-06-04/github-billionaires-will-own-more-microsoft-stock-than-its-ceo
I was served this advert that states: "_people who **love** what they **do** - do it **better.**_" ... 💭

Ok, I'll "bite" ... https://www.glintinc.com/goahead (_I don't "normally" click on ads ... but I'm intrigued!_)

Don't you _love_ a website that doesn't tell you anything ("above the fold") but _forces_ you to scroll ...

Kept scrolling ...

clicked on the **`Read more >>`** link

And learned _exactly **nothing**_.
Kept scrolling ...

Got to the bottom of the landing page.
I've learnt exactly _nothing_ about the product, and now you want my personal data ...

Went to: https://www.glintinc.com and the home page is no more _informative_.

OK, I _get_ that you are "People-Driven" ...

Watch their video on how "_Glassdoor measures and improves employee engagement with Glint_" ...

Kept scrolling ...

> "_The powerful platform that helps bring out the best in your people — and your organization._"

So I took the "tour" ... https://www.glintinc.com/people-success-platform

You've got dashboards with few graphs ...

https://www.glintinc.com/team-effectiveness ...

Finally a _glimpse_ of the actual _product_...!

Bit of desk research on the company:
https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=285459070

Their "executive" team is 80% male ...
But ... their **Chief Customer Officer** is **Ms. _Mary Poppen_**: https://www.linkedin.com/in/marypoppen

> _Mary Poppins_ works for them!! (_that's awesome_) https://youtu.be/U8VHc49ZdP4
They've borrowed a _lot_ of money to solve a problem that _shouldn't **exist**_...
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/glint#section-overview

When a `user` of your product thinks they could achieve the same result with **Google Forms** ...

# _How Much...?_
I tried searching the Glint website for pricing ... _nothing_!
Apparently they do not make their pricing `public` instead you have to "contact sales".
Does anyone `else` find it _ironic_ that a company focussed on improving engagement,
is _secretive_ about how much they charge organisations of their product...?
Challenge accepted. a few google queries later:
https://www.sensienthr.com/comparison (_see last column of this comparison table_):

# $40k/yr ... 😮
@iteles _apparently_, your idea for making an app to help people do work they love,
has been "_market validated_".
So ... what are we "_waiting for_" to _build_ a **_much_ better** way to **help people `do` what they love**...? ⏳
