Description

One of my _personal_ favourite books is [_The **7 Habits** of **Highly Effective People**_](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_7_Habits_of_Highly_Effective_People) By Stephen R. Covey ... I want to be around people who have read it and _chose_ to _implement_ it's teachings.

I don't think there is a _substitute_ for reading/listening to the "_whole_" book because it has _lots_ of insight, but for people who need a "_refresher_" or "_persuasion_" to pick it up, see:

P.S. I _genuinely_ don't _understand_ people who _dismiss_ ["_self help_"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-help) books/material ... 😕
While I _acknowledge_ there is an entire [_industry_](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-help#Statistics) that _profits_ from people's desire for "self-improvement", the _reason_ it exists is that (_a **LOT** of_) people _want_ to improve their own lives and those of their family/friends and without a deliberate effort towards a _goal_ most people are destined for mediocrity.
