Description
NOT that you/we should _ever_ make a decision based on someone `else` using something, but as _humans_ we _naturally_ give "credibility" to something based on "_social proof_".
Mostly people (CIOs/CTOs) don't want to feel like they're making the "_wrong_" decision...
So having a list of "_successful companies/organisations use XYZ Tech..._" is _useful_ in "_high level_" discussions...

## List
+ Instagram
+ Skype
+ Uber
+ Spotify
+ Netflix
+ Reddit (_still the most popular "social discussion" site_)
+ Citrix
+ Atlassian (JIRA etc.)
+ Disqus (_the biggest commenting system on the internet!_)
+ Hipmunk (_fastest growing travel search engine_)
+ Etsy (_community driven e-commerce_)
+ Heroku
+ DuckDuckGo (_search engine_)
+ Twitch (_the most popular online streaming platform_)
+ comScore, Inc.
+ Zalando (_Europe's answer to Zappos/Amazon_)
+ The US State Department
+ EnterpriseDB
+ IMDB.com (_biggest movie/film/TV actor database with the most reviews and box office data_)
+ BASF (the worlds largest chemical company_)
