Description
Fastest serverless distributed SQL database for always available applications
https://aws.amazon.com/rds/aurora/dsql/

Currently in "preview" ...
"99.999% availability with no single point of failure and automated failure recovery"
this is what `Aurora` should _always_ have been!! 🤦♂️
Our experience of _using_ the "old" `Aurora` for clients was it was slow and expensive. 🐌 💸
3 things that are not covered:
1. **request latency** in the same datacenter ⏳
2. ***pricing*** for storage, requests and data egress 💰
3. What does "**distributed**" mean in _practice_? How many datacenters? 🔢
What if we want to have it running in more locations? 💭
Keeping my eye on this but not wasting any time on "preview" ...
Going to continue with `Autobase` #114 on `Hetzner` https://github.com/dwyl/learn-devops/issues/97
as it will serve our use case more than adequately with the same availability for a tiny fraction of the price.
(don't expect "serverless" Postgres to be cheap!)
