Description
# Context
## Problem
Despite spending a _lot_ of cash and time on **high quality `WiFi` access points** and monitoring, 💸 ⏳
the @home network is inconsistent: https://github.com/dwyl/home/issues/378 💔
The main issue, as noted in https://github.com/dwyl/home/issues/378#issuecomment-4040712136,
is that when the power gets cut (because of work outside), ⚡
the access points don't recover without manual intervention ... 🧑💻 🤦♀️
## Story
I would like to have an ultra-low-cost/power **`WiFi` Signal Quality Monitor** in our House https://github.com/dwyl/learn-computer-networking/issues/32
that I can deploy once (or one near each access point)
and it will collect Wifi Stats from the that runs passively without any further intervention.
Opened an issue for the initial research: https://github.com/dwyl/learn-computer-networking/issues/32
I don't think a docker container running on a beefy machine is the answer.
Rather I feel like a lightweight microcontroller that can run a basic script is the way to go.
**Please Note**: I don't have _any_ time for this right now because I have literally _hundreds_ of other tasks with higher priority.
So I'm not going to be working on this for the foreseeable future. ⏳ 🙃
