Description

1. Determine what your problem areas are
2. Decide what you want those achieve that they're not achieving already
3. Consider why it's not working as you expect
4. Decide what you're going to try to change for your tests
5. Test your variations against your control
6. Change your website based on the results of your test
7. Start at step 1 again (either with new problem areas or continuously improve the same one)

_Warning: Back all of this up with **metrics** - you need them to determine what to test and also to understand which changes improve your site_

> Note on this: also link certain words like 'control' up to the terminology section or 'test' to the 'your first x test' section

Add a concise summary of the seven-step process there, linking terms such as “control” and “test” to the relevant sections mentioned in the issue. Done means the summary is easy to find and all added links work.
