I switched to the old interface! Wow, it has several things superior to the new, terrible one:

- Shows the errors in red balloons down at the bottom, warnings in yellow
- It's centered around the log file and its current or past results
- It shows a progress bar that makes a lot of sense
- Weird, indecipherable icons (Web 2.0-esque) have balloon text when you hover (e.g. Throttle Options, top right) whereas the new interface had no clue as to what several things did (overflow ..., pencil icon, crescent moon)
- You can view the current file being backed up on the Home screen, which is vitally important
- It has better use of colors, menus, drop-downs, and white space
- You can tell that whoever designed it really focused on the UI, because all the functions make sense and are discoverable
