Description
DDG App Tracking protection: Android mobile app, version: 5.143.1. #1: Can no longer connect to the Internet when using DDG app tracking protection. This began about 4 days ago. Prior to this there was no problem connecting daily. All 200+ apps cannot connect now. No error message. Uninstall/reinstall/clear cache/reboot do not work. Disable DDG Browser VPN, all apps connect without any problem. Too many apps affected to report each singlely. (Your app allows only single app problem reporting, a big hassle!) Google Play did an update the day these problems began. #2: the app is constantly crashing on app startup. Takes 3 or 4 tries before it will stay open and I can use it. No error message. My device: Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, SM-P610, OS: Android 12, Browser: Chrome.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the Android app tracking protection connectivity failure and the startup crashes on the reported Galaxy Tab S6 Lite running Android 12. Compare behavior with the VPN disabled and verify that all apps regain connectivity and the app opens reliably before treating the issue as resolved.
