DSC Resource

Problem description

Could you please help to check with DSC Resource on provisioning the Distributed Cache service using DSC in SharePoint Subscription Farm. Currently we are using the DSC resource module version 5.3.0 and with this module we were unable to provision the DC in SharePoint subscription version due to change in the commands we use to provision the DC in SharePoint Subscription version compare to previous version of SharePoint.

Start by collecting the missing target OS, PowerShell version, SharePointDsc version, and a real DSC configuration, then reproduce provisioning with SharePoint SE and DSC resource module 5.3.0. Compare the provisioning commands required by SharePoint Subscription Edition with those supported by the resource; done means the Distributed Cache service provisions successfully and the compatibility change is documented or fixed.
