Installation via shell script

Hi everyone! I believe this feature says it all even from the title. Wonder what the ease would be like if installation was possible by simply providing the prerequisites for installation and then running a shell script?

I was wondering what it would look like in the long run -maintenance wise- if this was available. I believe anyone who has done this already will be able to help make this available for any os currently used. That way it will be very quick and immediately available for every os we can think of.

We all know what it is like installing c++ dependencies. It can get ridiculously difficult at times. That’s why I thought this will bring ease in a manner we never thought of before.
