Description
It would be handy to have a configurable way of switching off nodes when not in use (if they are "released" / with their default image).
This is already partly implemented (if cards are released for 2 hours, they shut down).
But it would be interesting to be able to modify the timer to adjust.
It would also be useful to use SNMP if the test nodes are equipped with PoE.
With PoE & SNMP: Hard node shutdown with PoE MIB.

Research direction
No file or test is named. Start by locating the existing two-hour shutdown behavior and its configuration, then inspect how node power control and SNMP are handled. Done means the shutdown timer is adjustable and PoE-equipped nodes can be hard-shut down through the relevant PoE MIB.
