Disappearing horizontal or vertical lines in WPF

VSF_TYPE_MARKDOWNI face the problem that lines that are exactly horizontal or vertical disappear while painted to a canvas when they are
* too long while being
* too thin.

This problem/limitation has already been reported by other users (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13731593/horizontal-or-vertical-wpf-lines-limited-to-125-000-pixels).

Is there any known fix (other that dividing the line into multiple "sublines" or shifting start or end point a bit for that it is not longer vertical/horizontal) to this issue?
