Building a project after deleting a XAML file results in an error

VSF_TYPE_MARKDOWNRepro steps
File -> New -> WPF App (.NET Framework)
Build the project once
Delete MainWindow.xaml
Without saving, build the project
Expected: No error
Actual: error
