Ability to set the background colour of a TabControl.

I am currently developing a Windows Application with a white background colour scheme and want to use a TabControl. While I can set the background colour of each individual TabPage, there does not appear to be any means of setting the background colour of the TabControl, so I am always left with a grey background strip along the top of the control where the tabs stick up.
