## Issue Description ##

breakpoint not hit on async task function

## Steps to Reproduce ##

```
dotnet new react -n testx
```

in WeatherForecastController.cs replace

```cs
public IEnumerable Get()
```

with

```cs
public async Task> Get()
```

and add a test exception throw ( see [full repro here](https://github.com/devel0/repros/blob/94c47e60ce819005fd8d2228e67ccbc9d0ae7fe7/netcore/aspnet-core-01/Controllers/WeatherForecastController.cs#L30) )

vscode breakpoint on exception
