Assembly version wrong after build with Package tab open

If you navigate to the csproj Package tab, update the package version, and build -- leaving the Package tab open, the tab will gray out during the build, but after the build is finished the UI still shows the old assembly version numbers. It is necessary to close and reopen the properties before the correct assembly versions are shown.
