Serializer for protobuf-net in orleans 7

Is there a plan (or timeline) for supporting protobuf-net serialization in orleans 7?
This would be a nice-to-have feature, also protobuf-net was supported in 3.4, and thsis would hopefully open the door of upgrading to 7.x.
