How to install customized build tasks of VS Extension into VS Build tool

We have an VS Extension published which introduced a new project type.
When install extension in Visual Studio, it install our customize build under MSBuild root when installing the extension.

Now we would also want to enable the customized build with only installing Visual Studio Build Tool. Is there any guidance to deliver package to install the customized build into Visual Studio Build Tool?
