Description
Today we track:
- Pack
- Publish
- Warm Build
- Cold Build
- Get query/get item
These scenarios are useful for measuring improvements in command-line and developer inner-loop workflows. However, they do not capture the experience of IDE-driven project evaluation.
We are also interested in extending our performance coverage to the following areas and should investigate meaningful ways to measure them:
- IDE responsiveness (Visual Studio and VS Code).
- Evaluation cache pre-work and cache-related scenarios.
