Requesting to learn the rationale behind these rules

### Description

When someone says "you shouldn't do this" or "you must do that," I naturally want to know _why_.
It helps to see rules as useful guidelines rather than arbitrary decrees.

Also, can you teach these rules to Intellisense because it generated code that violated the guidelines.
