Research direction
Start by reproducing installer.exe on a clean Windows 11 x64 English machine and compare the taskbar name and icon before, during, and after pinning. Trace the installer bundle metadata responsible for its displayed name and icon, then verify that the SDK, ASP.NET Core Runtime, and Hosting Bundle installers retain the expected versioned name and icon through those taskbar actions.
