### Describe the bug
This change - https://github.com/dotnet/aspnetcore/pull/51394 - allowed the library to respect complex type errors. Since it was added, there is now a package for making this easy to do - https://github.com/grpc/grpc-dotnet/pull/2205.
Consider using the new package.
