Hot reload on Key Press 'R'

When I'm working on vs code autosave is turned on all the time. But I don't want my application to hot reload on every change because the app might crash because I might not have completed writing the code. There isn't an option for a hot reload on a certain key press. It would be great to have the option to hot reload on a certain key press. on the console.
