Description

Please fill in the information below:
  • Project Name: Docker.DotNet
  • Due by: -
  • Description: Maintenance of Docker.DotNet

I am one of the maintainers of the Testcontainers for .NET project. We as a project, as well as our users and other developers, depend on the Docker.DotNet project that runs under the .NET Foundation.

As open source maintainers ourselves, we understand that maintaining an open source project is a time-consuming endeavor and very often a labor of love. Many of us spent our personal time to grow a healthy, inclusive and engaging community. Sometimes it is difficult, to bring up the necessary time a project and community requires and deserves. There can many different valid reasons for this.

Unfortunately, there has been less active maintenance for Docker.DotNet in the past couple of months. Our efforts to get in touch with the current maintainer were unfortunately not successful yet. Since Docker.DotNet is an important upstream project we would be happy to ourselves help with the maintenance in whatever way it is appropriate. Can you support us in resolving the situation? We would really like to avoid forking the project.
