Description

### I confirm that...

- [X] I have searched the [issue tracker](https://github.com/doomemacs/doomemacs/issues), [documentation](https://docs.doomemacs.org), [FAQ](https://docs.doomemacs.org/-/faq), [Discourse](https://discourse.doomemacs.org), and [Google](https://google.com), in case this issue has already been reported/resolved.

- [X] I have read "[How to Debug Issues](https://doomemacs.org/d/how2debug)", and will use it to provide as much information about this issue as possible.

- [X] The issue can be reproduced on the **latest** available commit of Doom.

- [X] The issue can be reproduced on a stable release of Emacs, such as 27 or 28. *(Doom does not support development builds like 29+ or any version ending in .50 or .9x)*

### Expected behavior

Expected behavior: newline and indent the code.

### Current behavior

Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument number-or-marker-p return)
eglot--post-self-insert-hook()
newline(nil t)
#()
apply(# nil)
newline-and-indent()
#(newline-and-indent)
apply(# newline-and-indent)
funcall-interactively(newline-and-indent)
#(newline-and-indent nil nil)
apply(# (newline-and-indent nil nil))
explain-pause--wrap-call-interactively(# newline-and-indent nil nil)
apply(explain-pause--wrap-call-interactively # (newline-and-indent nil nil))
call-interactively(newline-and-indent nil nil)
command-execute(newline-and-indent)

### Steps to reproduce

1) enable
(lsp +eglot)
(cc +lsp)

2) type enter after an open brace `{` in a c-file to execute `newline-and-indent` won't indent the code and report
"Wrong type argument: number-or-marker-p, return".

This does not happen with non-eglot lsp. It also does not happen with vanilla emacs 29. + eglot.
