### Expected behavior
When the font in a config is set to a font that does not exist, I expect that a fallback will be used
### Current behavior
When the font in a config is set to a font that does not exist, Emacs window loads but nothing else does and it appears to be frozen.
### Steps to reproduce
1. Set your config to a font that doesn't exist
2. Open emacs
3. Nothing loads
