Research direction

Start by reproducing `(describe-keymap 'global-map)` in a Doom Emacs scratch buffer or through M-x, then compare the result with the emacs -Q case. Review the linked system information to identify the environment difference. Done means evaluating the expression no longer causes a segfault in Doom Emacs.
