Idea: How about combining this with the behavior of PaperWM?

I am currently using the PaperWM gnome extension and enjoy it very much. On the other hand the concept of FancyZones brings functionality that I was always missing. The combination of both concepts would be the most awesome experience I can imagine so far.

Side note: Did you watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLksV8krjsQ. The craft computing guy really misses FancyZones on linux and did not seem to know about your project.
