secondary email login does not work or explain to the user the issue

Description
I was not under the impression we supported secondary login, but right now what happens is that the UI just freezes, which is somewhat confusing. Since I am able to successfully authenticate with Google the UI says "Signed In", but I am not forwarded, nor am I informed that I have use an email which cannot be used to locate my account.
