Generate Columns took 18 hours to add

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it might be. In the [public db robot_blogger_v1](https://www.dolthub.com/repositories/dolthub/robot_blogger_v1), this commit https://www.dolthub.com/repositories/dolthub/robot_blogger_v1/compare/generated-index-bug-llama3/qra28luptjtb80532vmqpnihce0b80tg
which added generated columns on the langchain_dolt_embedding table took 18 hours. Adding the index took 20 hours i mean. It was also added on this branch too at this commit https://www.dolthub.com/repositories/dolthub/robot_blogger_v1/compare/generated-index-bug-gpt-4o-2024-11-20/187hppnhhog648pr85oudv06hlqauegh which also took about 15 hours.

Dolt v1.49.3 was used to create the generated columns.
