### Bug
Special character in word doc converted to item in numbered list (in all output formats)

### Steps to reproduce
for input see image - input-word-doc.png
or add the following to a word doc:
A. Stop caustic injection pumps P-137 A/B. Isolate caustic injection to Naphtha Caustic wash and caustic scrubber (V-133).
B. Stop Demulsifier pump P-132 A/B and isolate the valves at upstream of preheat train-I and desalter upstream.
C. Stop neutralizing amine injection (P-143 A/B & P-144 A/B) and isolate the following injection lines :
 Amine injections to crude column overhead vapor line and reflux line.
 Amine injections to vacuum column overhead vapor line.
