PDF parsing with multi column layout

Hi,

I have a PDF with multi column layout. I was trying to parse the PDF using docking but it appears to not recognize the column split.

Most of scientific papers have column split and is essential for parsing.

Is there a way to get the parsing right or is it an enhancement that needs to happen.

I am adding a particular PDF for reference.
