Review and refresh Docker app screenshots after the UI redesign rollout

Purpose and timing

Review and update Docker app screenshots in the documentation after the planned redesign rolls out across Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and other Docker UIs. Screenshots should match the released interface and the workflows described on their pages.

This is a deferred tracking issue and audit inventory. It is not actionable until the relevant app redesign has shipped. Review each app's screenshots after its rollout; no screenshot refresh is requested before then.

Audit scope

The repository audit identified 79 graphical UI screenshot files outside content/guides/:

This inventory includes cropped UI screenshots and annotated design examples, and counts duplicate files separately. It excludes guide images, third-party UIs, diagrams, standalone logos/icons/badges, vendored assets, and externally hosted images. These are review candidates, not 79 confirmed replacements. References from documentation pages and whether each asset is still used remain to be checked.

Audit baseline: September 16, 2026, checkout commit 2054b419afd87a3232f2e77366a561e172e27c67. Reconcile this inventory with repository changes when work begins.

Review after rollout

• Confirm that the redesigned interface has shipped for the app being reviewed.
• Find each asset's referring pages and compare the screenshot with the released UI. Record whether to retain, replace, or remove it.
• Replace affected screenshots and annotated examples. Update related instructions, UI labels, captions, and alt text where the redesign changes the documented workflow.
• Check duplicate assets and shared references so all affected pages use the appropriate image. Remove unused assets after checking their references.
• Verify the rendered pages and complete the applicable documentation checks. Close this issue when each inventory item has a recorded disposition and required updates are complete.

Mark an item complete after review and any required update. Record retained or removed items in a comment or linked PR so completion does not imply every file was replaced.

Terminal screenshots outside the graphical UI count

Two additional files show Docker terminal interfaces. Review these only if the rollout affects their output or presentation; they are excluded from the 79-file total:

Review the listed screenshot files, find their referring documentation pages and shared references, and compare each image with the released UI. Done means every inventory item has a recorded retain, replace, or remove disposition, required page updates are complete, and rendered pages and documentation checks pass.
