Description

Can I safely share docker client / APIClient object in many threads, each of them will call it’s methods?

or should I consider creating separate client object within each thread?

Research direction

The issue names the DockerClient and APIClient objects but mentions no source files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating their client implementation and existing documentation, then verify the thread-safety guidance against the relevant Docker Engine API behavior. Done means documenting whether clients can be shared across threads and, if not, the recommended usage.
