Description

When calling container.put_archive with a path that doesn't exist in the container the operation fails only after the defined timeout duration, instead of immediately with an informative message.
Steps to reproduce:
container.put_archive('/i/dont/exist', data)
docker-py 4.2.0
Python 3.7.3
docker 19.03.5
MacOS 10.15.4 (Catalina)

Research direction

Start at the container.put_archive entry point and reproduce the call with a nonexistent path using the versions listed in the issue. Trace how the timeout is surfaced and add coverage for this case; done means it fails immediately with an informative message rather than waiting for the timeout.
