Description
Description
To simplify scripting there should be a --force option when running docker create --name=. The implied behaviour would be that the provided name would be used, any previously created container with the same name be deleted.
Actually I was surprised that isn't already supported.

Research direction
Start with the Docker CLI implementation and tests for docker create --name; trace how an existing container name is handled. Define the --force behavior for that case, then verify that the named existing container is deleted and the requested name is used by the newly created container.
