cannot write /tmp/tmp4phcyxn2 because server did not provide an image ID
Steps to reproduce the issue:
- building images parallel with docker compose
Describe the results you received:
Docker compose fail to build
Describe the results you expected:
either success or provide a meaningful error message
Additional information you deem important (e.g. issue happens only occasionally):
the issue doesn't occur on every build
we use jenkins as our ci
and some of the build are failing. not all, not even most. but we have 10s of failures per day (out of hundreds)

Research direction
The report names no source files or tests; start with the reported docker-compose build command using COMPOSE_DOCKER_CLI_BUILD=1 and DOCKER_BUILDKIT=1. Investigate the intermittent failure during parallel image builds in the Jenkins/AWS environment, and confirm that builds either complete successfully or return a meaningful error instead of a missing image ID.
