Description

Trying to build with a Dockerfile >=10837622B in size fails while sending the file to daemon.

Here's such a failing file:

cargo-deny@0.18.5.Dockerfile.zip

The command:

docker build -o. --platform=linux/amd64 - <./cargo-deny@0.18.5.Dockerfile

Same result when using -f ./cargo-deny\@0.18.5.Dockerfile and also with https://..../cargo-deny\@0.18.5.Dockerfile

Expected behaviour

Build should proceed and a single ELF executable file should appear in $PWD.

Actual behaviour

Fails with

Reproduce the failure with the attached 10.84 MB Dockerfile and the supplied docker build command, comparing the listed default and docker-container builders. Read the related buildx issue 2453 and trace the Dockerfile transfer and status path; done means the build completes without COMPRESSION_ERROR.
