Description
As part of the django-commons transfer, we created tags v1.9.2 and v1.9.3 and released v1.9.3 to pypi: https://pypi.org/project/drf-haystack/1.9.3/
This was for testing purposes and to validate the transfer moved smoothly and release pipeline is working fine. Considering the changes we did during the transfer process, I think we should proceed with at least a minor release.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the v1.9.2 and v1.9.3 release notes, the transfer changes they reference, and the drf-haystack 1.9.3 package on PyPI. Confirm that the release pipeline worked as intended and clarify the scope and versioning for the proposed minor release; done means the release decision and required release steps are agreed.
