Put "generating" progress bar where next image will be placed

When generating multiple images, the "generating" progress bar is placed right on top of the first image while waiting for the second one. This makes it more difficult to view the image (though there are workarounds), and as the first image often is the most interesting one to evaluate this is a bit of problem.

Maybe the progress bar should be placed as a place holder for where the next image will be placed.
