Description

def _g1_path_colors(path: Path) -> Any:
    import rerun as rr
    if not path.poses:
        return rr.LineStrips3D([]) # empty geometry so the stale path clears
    points = [[p.x, p.y, p.z + _PATH_Z_LIFT] for p in path.poses]
    return rr.LineStrips3D([points], colors=[_PATH_COLOR_RGBA], radii=_PATH_RADIUS_METERS)

There's no way to serialize something like that^ for it to work in a rust based rerun bridge.

Research direction

Start at _g1_path_colors and trace how its rerun objects cross the Rust bridge. Define the serialization boundary for the empty and populated LineStrips3D cases, then verify the bridge reconstructs equivalent geometry and clears stale paths.
